Seven Years ago, I started on this journey of discovery--exploring different religions and paths. I bought my first Tarot deck--the Goddess Tarot. I knew nothing and had no teacher...I was just following my heart and intuition. My first readings really floored me with their accuracy. One figure within this deck began to speak to me so strongly. OYA. She really began to call to me. And thus began a time of major changes in my life. Changes that broke me down to my foundational spiritual self--destroyed the liter and junk I was carrying with me from the past and began to build me anew. Stronger, enlighened and ready for the battles which lay ahead of me. Then peace came for a while--proserity--blessings. But many crossroads loomed ahead of me. Sometimes I didnt fight the battles so well. Sometimes I failed. Sometimes I just gave up and walked away into the mist. Now I stand again at another crossroads and OYA calls to me again. She is the Goddess of the Winds of Change--and she has decided once again that I need her. Her fierce protection and her fierce justice. a lady said she was in her house and everyday the same bird on the telephone wirw would try and fly north,day after day this bird whould flap and flutter and get nowhere , she said after about a week of this futile launch, the bird gave up and flew with the prevailing wind's. In other word's ..., it's alot easier to go with the flow than to fight the forces, this woman then took on the name of Kestral
Laura~ thank you sooooo much for your words--yes she is upheaval--but she always does what is right and just and if your heart is just, then you have no need of fear. I tend to be that kind of person that is hardheaded and holds on to things that need to be ripped and blown away but I am all about justice and doing things right. In the past when I have tried to go against my ethics or justify them, there she came to knock me to the ground with a wake up call. But she always nutured me and healed me and cleasned me. Yes as our sister above said--peace through the storms that is nessecary to "blow that shit out"--very wise and eloquent way of putting it hon!!! Love you!
My dear Ben--I am flowing with her this time and not against the winds of change. Running against the wind just makes me too tired to fight the battles. I love Within Temptation--and I find it fasinating that the person who made the video made a connection with the goddess of light and darkness--the balance--and chose that goth music to go with it. How very fascinating. Yesterday I walked outside and stood looking at things around me and thought to myself of a thought I always have, my soul is autumn. Today I stood outside in a thunderstorm we were having, the wind whipping around me raises my head to the sky, waiting for the downpour.
Two months ago I got up in the middle of the night to go to the hospital, knowing my father's soul was trying to leave him body and I got there in time to sing to him and help draw him out, easing him out...so he would not be frightened.
I knew then, that I would be doing this again, that I was born to do it.
Now I come here and read. And wow.
May healing grace follow you and shine and radiate through you.
